Please join the West Virginia Cave Conservancy in celebrating another successful year of working to protect West Virginia’s caves and karst. This year’s banquet will be held at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre ― a new site for us this year! We are pleased to announce that the same chef from previous years at the Brier Inn, Dave Shifflett, who prepared the excellent food we enjoyed at last year’s banquet, will again be catering to our culinary desires. This year’s meal promises to be excellent.
Happy hour (cash bar) starts at 5:30 PM with dinner served at 7 PM. The tentative menu will be Chicken Francese, Vegetable Lasagna, and a Prime Rib carving station. There will be Roasted Red Potatoes, Rosemary Rice Pilaf, Vegetable Medley, and Garden or Pasta Salad. Dessert will be Cheesecake or Chocolate Cake. Coffee, iced tea, and sodas will be available
After dinner, we all regroup in the theatre for our short presentation, as well as a few surprises. In lieu of a guest speaker this year, we will provide something unique to our banquets ― an entertaining viewpoint of the WVCC.
The banquet site is located in downtown Lewisburg. Travel south on U.S. 219 from exit 169 on I-64 to the main downtown intersection with U.S. 60. Turn left at this stoplight and the theatre will be on your right. Parking is available streetside and in adjacent city parking lots.
