2nd National Cave and Karst Conservancies Forum being Planned!!

It was the first of its kind two years ago when the 1st National Cave Conservancies Forum was held. Two years later, the same groups are putting their heads and sponsorship behind the second of these "every-other-year" forums. This forum helped open new doors to communication between conservation groups with the same cause, which will benefit every caving region greatly. It helps share ideas that have worked, and ideas that have not worked. It also provides a forum to work on solving problems that many conservation groups have but are yet to find a solution for.
After the 1st Forum, the NCKMS (which is again a significant sponsor for the 2nd Forum), added a special "Cave Conservancies Forum" session on Friday of their meetings (which takes place during the years that this forum does not meet) to help facilitate any problems or solutions that had cropped up since the forum. This also helps everyone remain in contact with each other.
This unique event will be September 20-22, 2006 in Lewisburg, WV. I hope you consider attending, even if you are not on the board for a conservation group! Your ideas could help bring some great solutions to our community!
